The Client
Mugsy PR
Mugsy PR is the public relations side of Mugsy PR & Studios, the Fort Lauderdale agency Emily Taffel-Cohen founded almost 14 years ago.
The Brief
Mugsy PR sells visibility, including visibility in AI answers, so its own website had to be the evidence. Fast, readable by machines as well as people, and still as loud as the brand.
What We Built
- 01
One accent, one system
- A single pink on near-black, one light band, and display type saved for two moments per page.
- Every colour, size and spacing value comes from one tokens file, so the design cannot drift.
- 02
Motion with a budget
- GSAP and Lenis, with one signature move per section and nothing competing with it.
- The cost was measured (about 56 KB compressed) and signed off before it shipped.
- Reduced-motion settings remove what can trigger motion sickness and keep everything else.
- 03
Written for machines too
- Structured data on every page, describing the agency, its people, its case studies and its press.
- The page is complete without JavaScript, so nothing a crawler needs is hidden behind a script.
- 04
Leads that land
- A native contact form with spam filtering, routed through an n8n workflow to the agency inbox.
- Reply-to is set to the sender, so answering a lead is one click.
The Results
- Live on mugsypr.com since October 1, 2026.
- Structured data on every page.
- A Press Room of 16 client placements, each linked to the original coverage.
- Old WordPress page addresses redirected to the sections that replaced them.
